With Ultraform, you can have an unlimited number of forming tools and use the same holder, reducing your overall tooling spend. Want to use a different form? Simply swap out the forming insert. It’s not only efficient; it’s cost-effective. If you already have Ultraform XT or Ultraform FX holders, the inserts are completely interchangeable, further enhancing cost effectiveness. Ultraform XT™

Ultraform XT is Mate’s answer for those situations where you want flexibility but don’t frequently adjust tool length. Length adjustment is simple and quick…just remove the head cap and turn the punch to the desired length. Its grooved guides enhance lubrication and multiple angle settings provide maximum flexibility.  By using Mate’s ULTRAFORM insert system, Ultraform XT lets you change forms quickly and economically. If you already have ULTRAFORM or Ultraform FX holders, the inserts are completely interchangeable, further helping you control your tooling costs.

Ultraform FX™

Ultraform FX is perfect for machines with precision stroke control. A fixed length forming tool, Ultraform FX lets you take advantage of machine programming. As with all ULTRAFORM products, it features grooved lubrication grooves and multiple angle settings. Ultraform FX uses Mate’s ULTRAFORM insert system allowing you to have an unlimited number of forming tools with one holder to help you reduce your tooling spend. Plus if you already have ULTRAFORM or Ultraform XT holders, the inserts are fully interchangeable.
