What is a Multitool? - It’s a tool which expands the capacity of any one station of a CNC press (turret or otherwise) by allowing more than one punch and die set to be placed in a particular machine station. It’s different from a cluster tool in that only one punches actuates during a ram cycle.

The Euromac MTE6 Accepts six MT™ 24mm Punch, Die and Stripper Sets

Punch Point Range: 0.030(0.80) to 0.945(24.00)

Punches: Premium high speed tool steel for exceptional interval between regrinds. 1/4 degree back taper and near polished flanks to reduce friction and eliminate galling. Minute corner radii to reduce chipping. Orientation controlled by stripper.

Strippers: Hardened for less wear and resistance to punch galling. Shaped strippers are keyed to provide orientation. Tight clearance for better punch guiding; 0.001(0.04) for shapes, 0.002(0.06) for rounds.

Dies: Highly wear resistant, chrome air hardened tool steel with optimum balance between hardness and toughness. SLUG FREE® die geometry eliminates slug pulling. Uniform clearance radii in die corners to improve piece part quality. Shaped dies keyed. 0.059(1.50) grind life, with shims also available. Superior roundness and flatness with exceptional die strength.
