What is a Multitool? - It’s a tool which expands the capacity of any one station of a CNC press (turret or otherwise) by allowing more than one punch and die set to be placed in a particular machine station. It’s different from a cluster tool in that only one punches actuates during a ram cycle.

The Euromac MTE4 Accepts four Ultra-TEC™ 1-1/4 B Station Punch, Die and Stripper Sets

Punch Point Range: 0.500(12.70) to 1.250(31.70)

Punches: high-speed tool steel for exceptional interval between regrinds. 1/4 degree back taper and near polished flanks to reduce friction and eliminate galling. Exceptional dimensional accuracy and tool life. External lubrication grooves to allow fluid flow. Single point turned radii at base of punch point to improve strength. Superior angularity and concentricity.

Strippers: relieved to allow 0.118(3.00) extra grind life. Recessed to allow collection of lubrication fluid. Quick-change mechanism to allow rapid tool change. Rounded edges to minimise sheet marking. Optional urethane stripper pads to eliminate sheet marking.

SLUG FREE® Dies: Highly wear resistant, chrome air hardened tool steel to balance hardness and toughness. SLUG FREE® die geometry eliminates slug pulling. Uniform clearance radii in die corners to eliminate pip marks. Precision orientation with hardened external pin. Up to 0.118(3.00) grind life. Superior roundness and flatness with exceptional die strength.
