Mate Precision Tooling opened its Technology
Center in 1999 for developing and testing new
tooling concepts and tooling designs. The Technology
Center is dedicated to developing unique punch
press tooling using new materials and new applications
with a focus on proving the viability of value
added products while reducing time needed to bring
these products to market. Located within our 300,000 square foot building the facility is
equipped with new punching systems
which include the latest machines from Finn
Power, Euromac, and
others. The Technology Center is used to replicate
the user’s environment and needs in every
way. Using the latest punching systems and materials,
Mate tooling designers will expand Mate’s
line of proprietary tooling systems for producing
better quality parts faster and more cost effectively.
The Technology Center is also used to train Mate
customer service representatives in a real manufacturing
environment using the latest machines and Mate
tooling. This training includes tooling selection,
loading, program launching and piece part evaluation.
